Mini Travel Guide to Miami

Miami is a great destination for a holiday, at the same time a beach destination and a city break all rolled in to one. The area of Miami Beach and the famous South Beach are perhaps the places most synonymous with most people’s impressions of Miami when they think of the destination – beaches, sunshine, shopping and glamorous people.

Miami mixes all kinds of cultures and influences to create a quite impressive and enticing flavour. The city’s Cuban district is the place to sample an authentic slice of the Latin American country, while the famous Art Deco influences can be best seen in South Beach (or SoBe).

Shopaholics can head to some of the city’s many malls – Downtown Coral Gable and Miracle Mile, and The Shops at Sunset Place are a couple of examples of the great shopping on offer. Alternatively, head to one of the city’s numerous stretches of sand and just chill out and enjoy the sun and the great Miami weather.
