Think you can't buy anything for a buck these days? Think again: With this jawdropping deal from Boltbus, you can travel between New York City and Washington, D.C., for just $1 each way.
Here's how it works: Boltbus has released a limited number of $1 tickets for at least 1 departure every day it operates. These tickets sell out fast, so the further in advance you book, the more likely you are to find the lowest fares. We found other tickets going for $5-$15 each way, so even with regular rates you still get a great deal.
Boltbus has 8 departures per day, with drop-off and pick-up at the following locations:
- New York: 33rd Street and 7th Avenue
- New York: Canal Street and 6th Avenue
- Washington, D.C.: 11th and G Street NW
All buses are equipped with spacious legroom, wireless Internet access and power plugs to make your trip more comfortable.
Service begins March 27.
For more information and to book, click here. To book a roundtrip ticket, enter your desired date of departure, then click "Purchase Options" and "Book Round Trip."
* Terms/Conditions: An additional $0.50 transaction fee will apply. Reservations are offered based on a variety of fares. A limited amount of seats may be available for any particular fare, and BoltBus may limit such fares for any reason and at any time. A reservation fare is confirmed only at sale—if the price has changed before sale the customer must reselect the fare available at that time. Any increase or decrease in fares following the sale will not be adjusted to the customer. All reservations are good only on for the date and schedule chosen and are nonrefundable. Reservations can not be changed after purchase.
