Travelzoo Unveils World's First Interactive Advertising Campaign in an Airport
There's more than airline delays stopping traffic at the Las Vegas airport this summer. From now through August, the 3.5 million travelers that walk through McCarran each month will get the chance to star in their own ad or play with virtual slot machines. Three concourses feature gigantic projections with real time updates on travel deals as they become available. Thanks to immersion technology, travelers in Concourse C passing by the ad see their image projected into the ad on two huge plasma screens. Meanwhile, in Concourse D travelers waiting for their flight can play with three huge slot machines that spin the latest deals when travelers pull the virtual lever.
