The Deal

Frida's Mexican Grill in Napa serves up "the art and heart of Mexico," says the Napa Valley Register, with "a dazzler of a menu." For $25, enjoy Frida's authentic Mexican specialties with dinner for two, including a shared appetizer, two entrees and one dessert, regularly up to $57.

Chef and co-owner Arturo Delgadillo created a menu "that includes traditional offerings with his own special touches." Explore the diverse range of dishes, including seven types of enchiladas and plates native to a plethora of Mexican cities from Oaxaca to Jalisco. Guests can savor:

• Shared appetizer, such as nachos grande with marinated fajita skirt steak, or the quesadilla de camarones with prawns, Frida's secret spices and spinach (up to $12.95)

• Two entrees, such as paella a la Mexicana with prawns, scallops and chicken, or steak picado with New York steak, onions, bell peppers, white wine and ranchera sauce (up to $18.95 each)

• Shared dessert, such as caramel flan, a brownie sundae or the banana chingalinga, a banana rolled in cinnamon and honey, wrapped in a flour tortilla and deep fried (up to $5.95)
