The Fine Print

Vouchers can be redeemed starting Thursday, Sept. 29, through March 28, 2012. Reservations are required; see voucher for details on how to redeem. This deal does not include paintballs or air for the tank; must be purchased on site; minimum paintball purchase required. Vouchers may be shared or used over multiple visits. Must be 10 years old or older to use this deal. Any participant under 18 years old must have a completed waiver signed by a guardian. This deal cannot be combined with any other offer. No cash value or cash back. Must be used in 1 visit. Tax is not included.

The Deal

Duck and dodge on a mission to be the last team standing with this Local Deal for Santa Clara Paintball. For $30, six people can get all-day admission and equipment rental at this rain-or-shine Bay Area venue, regularly $210.

Santa Clara Paintball describes the game as a combination of capture the flag, chess and hide and seek. Compete on one of seven playing fields; divisions are based on skill level and experience, making this exhilarating pastime appropriate for all ages over 10 years old.

Strap on your gear and head to the field of your choice where you can duck behind mountainous castle walls on the "Castle Field" or weave through store-front facades on the "Western Town" field. Eliminate all players on the other team to claim your victory. There can be as little as two and as many as 40 on the field at a time.

The facility is open on Wednesdays and Fridays from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m and Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. A safety mask with goggles, the paintball gun, a hopper and air tank are all included with this deal. Ammo and air are not included and must be purchased on site. Long pants, long sleeves, gloves and a helmet/hat are suggested. See the website for more details.
