The Deal

Tickets are now $12 (regularly $20) for tours Sept. 29 through Dec. 31. The tours take off from the corner of Ninth and South streets at 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays through Sundays.

Knowledgeable and energetic guides lead the groups of 12 or less through the eclectic shopping and eating emporiums of Philadelphia's 9th Street Italian Market. Visitors will have the chance to meet local store owners, snack on tasty food samples and discover the history of Philly.

Tours typically last two hours and end at the corner of Ninth Street and Passyunk Avenue.
