For $349 (regularly $830), spend two nights at the Old Inn on the Green, dine on a four-course dinner for two at the inn's acclaimed, AAA 4 Diamond-awarded restaurant, and get a three-course lunch at the charming Southfield Store Cafe.

A romantic, fireside dinner awaits at the inn's intimate restaurant with cuisine that Fodor's calls "swoon-worthy." A sophisticated menu will be prepared by the chef and owner of the inn, who has attracted national attention, receiving accolades in publications including The New York Times Magazine, Wine Spectator and Town & Country.

The neighboring town of Great Barrington was ranked the No. 1 Small Town in America by Smithsonian Magazine; the Norman Rockwell Museum, home to the world's largest collection of the artist's original works, is 16 miles away; and Tanglewood -- summer home to the Boston Symphony Orchestra -- is 20 miles away.

Guests of the inn, a 1760 stagecoach stop, will stay in the best available Inn or Thayer House room. Authentically restored guest rooms feature touches of the pre-Revolutionary period, and some boast wood-burning fireplaces. The Old Inn on the Green also has two large living rooms, a small library and a swimming pool (seasonal).

Hotel-imposed penalties may apply. Note: The Old Inn on the Green restaurant is closed Tuesdays through October and Mondays & Tuesdays in November. Monday arrivals are not permitted in November.
