The Deal

Il Bellagio in CityPlace "has authentic Italian piazza written all over it" says the Broward-Palm Beach New Times, celebrating this vibrant venue for its made-to-order dishes, wood-burning brick oven and homemade sweets. Aside from its praise of the menu as a whole, the New Times specifically recommends the linguine with white wine clam sauce ($17.95), calling it "a fragrant, flavorful dish" with "a hearty helping of fresh, shell-in clams." The dish earned a spot on its 100 Favorite Dishes list. Snag a table on the patio to catch one of the plaza's musical fountain shows and choose from other menu highlights, which include:

• Cubanelle peppers appetizer, stuffed with spicy sausage with marinara sauce and Parmesan ($9.95)
• Fresh mussels appetizer, cooked in a delicate tomato sauce with a touch of wine and garlic ($12.95)
• Pizza from the wood-burning oven such as margherita, pesto or four cheese ($12.95-$15.95)
• Risotto alla Champagne with shrimp, peas and goat cheese in a Champagne sauce ($19.95)
