The Deal

Through fall, plunge into vacation mode by sipping on complimentary mojitos at a 4-star oceanfront resort in Vero Beach for close to 50% off. The celeb-owned Costa d’Este Beach Resort offers this exclusively negotiated deal for $149 per night Sundays-Thursdays or $169 per night Fridays and Saturdays through Oct. 31.

Catering to both the laid-back and the adventure-loving types, the package includes a choice of one of the following -- a $50 spa credit, one-hour kayak rental for two people or a beach setup for the day (two chairs, an umbrella and a table).

Stay in a Modern Double or King room with custom teak furniture that's been touted by Fodor's as giving the "feel of being in a modern yacht." Upgraded Pool View King rooms are $20 more per night and have larger balconies and views of the pool and beach.

Splash in the infinity-edge pool, cool off at the cabana bar, frolic on the beach or walk to the nearby shops, museums and theaters. Vero Beach is an hour and a half north of West Palm Beach and about two hours from Orlando.

Once the room is reserved with the hotel, hotel cancellation policy prevails, and cancellations or changes must be made seven days prior to arrival or the voucher is subject to forfeiture.
