The Deal

With this Local Deal for $59 per person, Travelzoo subscribers can take a guided snowshoe tour of the elevated terrain of the Highlands. Regularly $120, this half-day tour from Living Adventure Tours includes gear, breakfast and transportation and is designed for all abilities, including first-time snowshoers.

Strap on the snowshoes and follow a seasoned guide through the scenic elevations of the Highlands. Tours are fully customized to the group, so adventurists can choose the type of scene they'd like to experience, from quiet meadows to challenging peaks.

Transportation from Penn Station (Eighth Avenue & 30th Street) is included, and tours leave at 9:15 a.m. The tour lasts four hours and the total excursion time with transportation is seven hours.

Note: In the event of no snow or lack of snow, tours will run as hiking adventures. Boxed lunches are available for an additional $10 charge.
