The Deal

STLToday.com says Copia Restaurant & Wine Garden is a "showplace" that "provides a dreamy space for a downtown meal," and Riverfront Times says that "amid such spectacle, the food demands attention." The last time we featured a deal for Copia, it sold out immediately; however, we have secured additional dates for this Local Deal. Dine on Executive Chef Dave Rook's acclaimed cuisine with the deal for dinner for two starting at $59, regularly $106.

This offer is good for dinner any weekday; a very limited number of Saturday reservations are available for $65. With either deal, select:

• An appetizer to share, including bacon-wrapped smoked shrimp, fried arancini, a Mediterranean mezze platter or calamari that St. Louis Magazine says is as "delectable as any seafood you’ll find in a New England clam shack" (up to $12)

• Two entrees, like the grilled duck breast with confit legs that Riverfront Times calls "enticing," osso bucco or the house-smoked spare ribs that St. Louis Magazine named "unquestionably ... the best upscale version of barbecue in the area" (up to $29 each)

• A dessert for the table, like bread pudding with bourbon caramel sauce or gooey butter cake with raspberry sorbet (regularly $8)

• Two drinks, like the French martini with Belvedere vodka, Chambord and pineapple; or beers from Urban Chestnut like Winged Nut ale or Schnickelfritz weissbier (up to $14 each, does not include wine)

Travelzoo Tip: Reserve a seat on the patio if you can, especially near the fountain -- with its retractable roof, St. Louis Magazine called it "one of the most attractive outdoor dining spots in town -- in all four seasons."
