The Deal

Glide through the tranquil waters of Santa Cruz Harbor with a stand-up paddleboard tour or lesson with Sup Shack, rated 4 stars on Yelp. For $25, regularly $55, Travelzoo subscribers can get a two-hour tour of the harbor, including paddleboard instruction, equipment and a bottle of water.

Choose from the following tours:

• Santa Cruz Harbor Tour: Paddle around the harbor and up to the lighthouse as instructors point out famous boats and landmarks along the way

• Santa Cruz Wharf Open Ocean Tour: More experienced paddleboarders can venture out to the Wharf, where you can encounter sea lions and other wildlife

• Morning Tour: Start off your day with a fresh-air workout on the water; tour departs daily at 9 a.m.

• Sunset Tour: Catch a picturesque sunset over the Pacific Ocean; tour departs daily at 5 p.m.

Or, choose from these other options: for $12, get a two-hour stand-up paddleboard rental (a $25 value); or for $29, get a 90-minute beginner stand-up paddleboard lesson (a $60 value).

Terms and Conditions Vouchers can be redeemed starting Tuesday, Aug. 21, through Dec. 7, 2012. Reservations are required by phone and are subject to availability. Santa Cruz Harbor Tours run daily starting at 9 a.m. Sunset Tours leave at 5 p.m. daily; Morning Tours leave at 9 a.m. daily.  For the Wharf Open Ocean Tour, previous SUP experience is required; not for first-time stand-up paddlers. A minimum of 4 people is required for tours to operate. A 48-hour cancellation policy applies; voucher is subject to forfeiture. Subject to weather conditions. Must have prior stand-up paddleboarding experience for rentals.
