The Deal

Soar above the Bay Area with a one-hour flight experience from Bel-Air International in San Carlos. Take off for a 40-minute flight after preflight instruction and take a friend along for the ride for $99, regularly $199.

Start on the ground as an FAA-certified instructor conducts a 20-minute preflight briefing on the ins and outs of the plane -- either a Cessna 172 or Piper Warrior aircraft. Experience hands-on control during takeoff while gliding over Half Moon Bay and the coast.

Or, double your time with a two-hour flight experience that gets you an hour of preflight instruction and then a full hour in the air for $189. Normally $429, this upgraded package will take you over the sights of San Francisco, Alcatraz, the Golden Gate Bridge and Half Moon Bay. This deal also includes a flight logbook, certificate and flight chart.

Both deals are good for the student and one additional passenger.
