The Deal

Take in views of the Cascades while traversing groomed trails in Leavenworth, called "one of the premier snowmobile locations in the country" by Leavenworth.org. For $69, up to two people can share a snowmobile and spend two hours riding through up to 186 miles of trails, normally $134.

Meet Leavenworth Powersports Adventures at the head of Fish Lake Sno-Park, which boasts 2,000 feet of elevation and vistas of the Cascade mountain range and Fish Lake.

Snowmobile delivery to the head of the park (directions here), a helmet and trail maps are included. Available dates are Dec. 3-4, 10-11; Jan. 7-8, 14-15, 21-22, 28-30; Feb. 4-5, 11-13, 18-20, 25-28; March 4-6, 11-14, 18-21, 25-28; April 1. Rental begins at 10 a.m., noon or 2 p.m. Come prepared with plenty of warm clothing including hat, gloves, boots and sunglasses or goggles.

Historically a logging town, Leavenworth was transformed into a Bavarian Village in the 1960s and has since become one of the main attractions in Washington for its festivals and wintertime activities.

Vouchers can be redeemed starting Monday, Dec. 3, through April 1, 2013. See availability calendar for available dates. Reservations are required and subject to availability and weather; must book at least 5 days in advance. Available dates are Dec. 3-4, 10-11; Jan. 7-8, 14-15, 21-22, 28-30; Feb. 4-5, 11-13, 18-20, 25-28; March 4-6, 11-14, 18-21, 25-28; April 1. Driving experience is required; snowmobile or off-road vehicle driving experience is recommended. Must be 18 years old or older to drive snowmobile; riders must be at least 16. You will be charged $5 per gallon used during rental period, or you may choose to refill it. Must provide credit card number to reserve; must present credit card, valid driver's license and voucher on day of booking. Must sign waiver. Meet at entrance to Fish Lake Sno-Park 10 minutes prior to booking time. It is advised to wear very warm clothing, sunglasses or goggles and snow boots. Limit 4 voucher purchases per person; may buy 2 additional vouchers as gifts. Gratuity and tax, if applicable, are not included. Please note that a minimum of 4 reservations must be made per day.
