The Deal

Dive into the basics of underwater exploration with an introductory scuba lesson at Seven Seas Scuba. For $28 per person, take part in a 2.5-hour group class at Samena Swim & Recreation Club in Bellevue with a certified instructor, regularly $60. This deal is also valid for a $25 credit to be used toward future Open Water training.

Start off with an informational DVD introduction and classroom session filled with how-to tips and navigation techniques such as maneuvering and simple breathing. Then head to the full-sized indoor pool to get professionally fitted for your gear, familiarize yourself with the equipment and suit up for the dive. Students will then hit the pool to learn an array of underwater skills, including breathing through the regulator and propulsion techniques.

All gear is provided, including all dive equipment, so just bring a swimsuit and towel. Classes can accommodate up to eight people, so buy multiple vouchers and dive with friends. Must be 10 years old or older to dive.

Terms and Conditions
Vouchers can be redeemed starting Thursday, May 10, through Nov. 10, 2012. Reservations are required and must be made by phone; subject to availability. Classes are held on the first Saturday of every month at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Classes on additional Saturdays may become available; a minimum of 4 participants is required for classes to take place. Call ahead to confirm availability. Limit 1 voucher purchase per person; may buy additional as gifts. Must be 10 years old or older to use this deal; guests younger than 18 years of age must be accompanied by a legal guardian. Maximum 8 participants per class. Voucher is subject to forfeiture if you cancel or reschedule your reservation with less than 72 hours' notice. This deal cannot be combined with any other offer. Must be used in 1 visit.
