the water and weather were beautiful. guide jason was very knowledgeable. unfortunately we saw very little wildlife and were disappointed with that

if we go back to orcas island, we will rent kayaks and go on our own, without the guide, so we have more freedom of travel.

Our guide Jason. His knowledge of geology and marine life really made the trip a learning experience. And the weather was beautiful, of which you have no control, which really made the day.

One couple arrived late, so we got a late start. Which meant we had a late ending. We missed the 2:20pm ferry back to Anacortes. I also missed in your ad that we would be using tandem kayaks. We just bought our own individual kayaks, and are very glad we did. TravelZoo really needs to stress having the voucher numbers and the PIN number when arriving at merchant. This was the first time we had made a purchase through TravelZoo, so we learned. Luckily, we had internet access and logged into our account to pull them up.

Saw several pods of transient orcas within 1/2 hour of leaving dock.

Matt and Demy were awesome! Dress warm as it gets chilly on the water.

It was a great value for the money! Saw lots of wildlife and beautiful scenery.

Our guide Chris was awesome!

As much as I would have enjoyed the whale watching tour, I was not aware that it was nearly a 3.5 hour drive from Seattle just to arrive at the departure destination. As I was traveling from Iowa and not familiar with the area, I booked a tour that I wasn't able to take.

The Outer Island people were very gracious and helpful when I notified them that we would not be able to attend our scheduled tour. They offered to try to find someone to take our spots and I have them the Pin numbers from the voucher.
