The Deal

Yoshi's is a name that's become synonymous with world-class jazz over the past 40 years in the Bay Area, and touts a menu to match. Zagat gives the "inspired Japanese cuisine" a rating of "very good to excellent" (21) for food, and Frommer's calls it "first-rate." With this exclusive Local Deal, Travelzoo subscribers can dine on a four-course chef-selected menu at the 2012 Michelin Guide-recommended Yoshi's San Francisco for $65, regularly $130.

Select the following from a special menu created exclusively for Travelzoo subscribers by chef Shotaro "Sho" Kamio:

• Two salads, choose from: heirloom tomato "sashimi" with myoga ginger, shiso, citrus brown rice vinaigrette, seaweed and tofu salad with goma miso dressing or the summer/fall farm salad with seasonal vegetables

• Two appetizers, choose from: Dungeness crab cakes with sweet corn and shiitake mushrooms; a six-piece sashimi sampler; or summer kakiage with gobo, red onion, corn, asparagus and carrots

• Two entrees, choose from: "gindara" grilled black cod with agedashi tofu and snap peas; Angus hanger steak with sauteed hiratake mushrooms, English peas and rosemary-scented carrot mousse; wild local king salmon glazed with house-made teriyaki sauce; or Mary's Farm organic half chicken roasted in buttermilk with rainbow chard

• Two desserts, choose from coconut "caviar" with azuki gelato, yuzu shiso syrup and white sesame pastry cream or the Tokyo "roll," made with mochi, ginger, apple, ricotta, phyllo, ringo tea pot de creme and a graham cracker crust
