The Deal

Dunya Mediterranean Bistro & Wine Bar opened its doors in Nob Hill last year, and with its warm, sleek decor, authentic cuisine and festive atmosphere, it has garnered a 4-star rating on Yelp from 160 reviews. Two can visit this neighborhood gem for lunch for $25, regularly $44.

Guests can peruse the Mediterranean-inspired menu crafted by owner and chef Coskun Abik, a native of eastern Turkey with 17 years of restaurant experience. Dunya guests will receive:

• Two soups, salads, mezes or appetizers, such as the stuffed falafel salad with goat cheese and spring mixed greens topped with avocado salsa; or the calamari Palermo, sauteed with artichoke, kalamata olives, garlic and basil (up to $8 each)

• Two paninis, wraps, kebabs or entrees, such as the prawns shish kabob marinated with fresh lemon and exotic spices, served with rice and vegetables; or the smoked salmon panini with goat cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion, served with salad and french fries (up to $14 each)

For $35, guests can add a glass of wine each to the meal (up to $10 each), regularly $64. Try a glass of Medrano Melbec (Argentina) or Caposaldo Pinot Grigio (Italy).
