The Deal

The Carlsbad Examiner calls Ignite Bistro & Wine Spot "fantastic" and praises it as an "incredible go-to spot" for dining and socializing, and Carlsbad Patch says it serves "tasty food in a bold atmosphere." With this deal, two can enjoy a bottle of wine and a three-course dinner for $39, regularly as much as $84.

Before dinner, wander Ignite's expansive Wine Spot market and receive a $20 credit toward any bottle of wine for the table. Dozens of bottles are available at or below $20, or use the credit to splurge on a more expensive bottle. Ignite will also waive the $5 corkage fee. Then take a seat indoors or out in the courtyard Examiner calls "beautiful" and select:

• A "shareable" menu item or wood-fired pizza like the popular Man Candy sweet and spicy bacon jerky, pancetta shrimp served with caper vinaigrette or a traditional margherita wood-fired flatbread topped with fresh basil and mozzarella (up to $12.95)

• Two entrees like a full rack of Ignite's signature baby back ribs served with sweet potato fries, fire-roasted rosemary chicken or seared scallops with shaved Brussels sprouts and a light lemon sauce (up to $19.95)

• A "shareable sweet" to split like a chocolate chip and pecan cookie, served a la mode and topped with caramel sauce (up to $6.50)
