The Fine Print

Vouchers can be redeemed starting Friday, Nov. 4, through May 3, 2012. Reservations are required and subject to availability. Check the website for open time slots as they will fill up quickly. Limit 1 voucher purchase per person; may buy multiple as gifts. Limit 1 voucher per person per day. This deal cannot be combined with any other offer. Must be used in 1 visit. No cash value or cash back. Tax and gratuity are not included. Must be 21 years old or older to drink alcohol.

The Deal

Get a taste of San Diego's culinary scene with a food walking tour, filled with tastings of local cuisine and specialty drinks. Experience what San Diego Magazine calls "a treat for foodies" with this three-hour stroll, exploring some of the city's best restaurants for $22 per person, regularly $45 each.

Take your pick of four different tours: Downtown/Little Italy, Coronado, Old Town or the newest in La Jolla, launching Nov. 12. Guides will fill you up with insights into each area, and of course, the grub.

For example, on the Downtown tour, walk along Horton Plaza and taste goodies from restaurants such as "Best Indian" restaurant Royal India and rustic Italian hot spot Davanti. Strollers can check out more than 400 craft beers at Bottlecraft and sweeten up their saunter with cannolis at Café Zucchero.

Or, be the first on the La Jolla tour when it launches on Nov. 12 and visit neighborhood favorite The Cottage, voted best overall service and best overall restaurant by La Jolla Village News. Dip into an array of gourmet olive oils at We Olive and finish up at Cups, with its award-winning sweets.
