The Deal

The 6,000-acre San Diego-La Jolla Underwater Park and Ecological Reserve is home to abundant marine wildlife and "some of the best snorkeling in the world," says KPBS. For $19, take a guided snorkeling tour including gear with OEX Dive & Kayak, rated 4 stars on Yelp. This experience is regularly $45.

The guided tour lasts about an hour. After gearing up with a mask, snorkel and fins, follow your guide through the wildlife-rich waters off the shore. Some of the marine wildlife you may spot include harmless leopard sharks, guitar fish, garibaldi, seals and diving birds.

Tours run multiple times daily and are suitable for all skill levels (swimming experience is recommended). After the tour, keep your equipment for two additional hours to explore the area on your own. With this deal, wet suits are also available for $5 (regularly $15), paid directly to OEX.
