The Deal

Spend 90 minutes on a sunset cruise from San Diego Whale Watch, sailing the waters of Mission Bay and watching the sun drop below the horizon. For $14, this deal includes admission to the sunset cruise as well as 1 bottle of water, soda, glass of sparkling cider or Red Bull to parch your sun-drenched thirst.

Patrons can step aboard the Privateer to scan the sunset Thursdays through Saturdays and enjoy the sights of the ocean as well as the potential to encounter sea life that can usually be seen in the area. Sea lions inhabit the waters, bottlenose dolphins have been known to be seen, and the elusive nautical phenomenon known as "the green flash" can be seen on clear evenings under proper conditions.

The cruise will take patrons on any of 3 different routes, one north along Mission Beach, Pacific Beach and La Jolla; one south along the coast past Ocean Beach Pier and Point Loma, and in the event of rougher seas around the interior of the bay itself.
