The Deal

San Diego Symphony's Summer Pops outdoor concert series is underway, and Travelzoo subscribers can save 50% on three July concerts. Roberta Flack, Marvin Hamlisch and Doc Severinsen headline the performances at Embarcadero Marina Park South.

Cabaret 2 seats are $16 (regularly $32), Cabaret 1 seats are $21 (regularly $42), Premium Cabaret seats are $30 (regularly $60) and Champagne seats are $38 (regularly $76) for the following performances:

• Sunday, July 1 at 7:30 p.m. - "Star-Spangled Pops" with Marvin Hamlisch

The renowned conductor leads this pre-Independence Day concert of John Philip Sousa marches, "American Idol" stars, military tributes and a fireworks display.

• Friday & Saturday, July 6-7 at 7:30 p.m. - Roberta Flack

The Grammy Award winner will perform hits "Killing Me Softly," "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" and "Where Is the Love?" Fireworks will follow each performance.

• Sunday, July 8 at 7:30 p.m. - Doc Severinsen and the San Miguel 5

The former "The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson" band leader leads the San Miguel 5 in Spanish, Mexican and American ballads.
