$29 - 'Best of State' Sushi Dinner for 2 at Mikado, Reg. $57

The Deal

Mikado has won the Best of State award for best sushi two years in a row. Two people can have a four-course Japanese dinner at any of the three Salt Lake City area locations of this restaurant group that Zagat calls "trendy" for $29, regularly $56.75.

This dinner includes:

• Any shared appetizer such as the Mango Chicken Yakitori or the Mikado prawns with sweet citrus aioli (up to $8)

• Choice of miso soup or side salad each

• Any two entrees or sushi rolls from the menu, including the chef's specialty sushi roll creations, like the Avocosmo Roll (spicy Panko shrimp, fresh salmon and avocado), or entrees like the Pacific Rim Ribs Bento, which are slow cooked with an Asian barbecue glaze (up to $18 each)

• Any shared dessert, like the strawberry and chocolate mochi ice cream or the flourless chocolate cake (up to $8)

Choose to dine at the Cottonwood location and select a seat on the creekside outdoor patio overlooking the Wasatch.
