58 Degrees & Holding Co. in Midtown was voted the "Best Wine Bar" by readers of Sacramento Magazine, which notes its "beautifully and thoughtfully presented" cuisine and its "astonishing number of wines." Visit this Handle District spot with a lunch for two plus drinks for $19, regularly $45.

Zagat recommends diners "go for the wine but stay for the food," which it gives a "very good to excellent" rating (22). Dine on a specially crafted lunch, exclusive to Travelzoo:

• Shared trio of bruschetta; choose three varieties such as Fuji apples, prosciutto and Fontal Caravaggio; mission fig compote, Laura Chenel's Chèvre and toasted pecans; or mushroom confit and caramelized onion béchamel

• Two main dishes, such as the griddled hangar steak sandwich with arugula, brie, caramelized onion aioli on ciabatta; the Dungeness crab roll with cilantro-garlic emulsion, Thai chili sauce and butterleaf slaw on a torpedo roll; or the crab cakes small plate with sweet chili sauce and basil aioli
