"Posh in a country-chic sort of way, the rambling Weasku Inn fits in perfectly with its piney surroundings," says Fodor's of the sprawling property on 10 acres along the banks of the scenic Rogue River. Use the $50 dining credit to enjoy Portuguese-style steamed clams at nearby Blondie's Bistro or bacon-wrapped apricot chicken at the lodge-style Taprock Northwest Grill, both nearby in downtown Grants Pass.

About the location: Grants Pass is in southern Oregon, on the banks of Rogue River. The town is 60 miles north of the California border -- 40 minutes from Medford, two hours from Eugene and four hours from Portland. Outdoor activities include whitewater rafting, fly fishing and hiking the forest trails.
