With this deal, you don't have to decide yet when to go. With this deal, purchase a voucher from Travelzoo then call the hotel directly at (800) 327-3353 to make a reservation for desired travel dates. Once the room is reserved with the hotel, hotel cancellation policy prevails, and cancellations or changes must be made 14 days prior to arrival or the voucher is subject to forfeiture. The Deal

Head up to the mountains to a resort that has been AAA 4-Diamond rated for 21 consecutive years in Lake Tahoe. Travelzoo negotiated this exclusive package that saves more than 55% at the Resort at Squaw Creek, which was recognized as one of the Top 50 Ski Resort Hotels in North America by Conde Nast Traveler in 2011.

Stay for one night Sunday-Thursday Jan. 8 - April 30, including peak ski season for $199. This deal includes a bottle of house wine upon arrival and s'mores for two at the fire pits by Sandy's Pub.

While there, enjoy a complimentary winter activity for two -- glide along the exhibition rink on ice skates, or use either snowshoes or Nordic skis to traverse the meadow at Squaw Creek and head into the back country of Squaw Valley.

Two-night stays are offered for arrivals Sunday-Wednesday for $379, and a two-night weekend stay with a Friday arrival is $449. These packages include the above extras for one of the days only.

Nestled in the Sierra Nevada mountains, the property is at the base of Squaw Valley, less than five miles from Lake Tahoe. There is a $18 daily resort fee, which covers use of the fitness center, heated pool and hot tubs, along with Wi-Fi access, and transportation to and from Squaw Valley USA.
