The Deal

Catch the beginning of salmon season in Washington with this deal for a five- to six-hour guided fishing excursion with Brian's Fishing Company. For $85, embark on this river trip including gear, tackle and bait, regularly $175. Get this deal for two people for $160, regularly $350, or $239 for three, normally $525.

Livestrong.com recommended Brian's Fishing Company and wrote that the rivers around Olympia "turn out some of the most productive fishing in the area." Trip-goers can cast their lines for king, silver and chum salmon, with spring steelhead trips beginning in January.

Depending on the season and strength of the river runs, trips take place in the Cowlitz and Chehalis rivers, both of which empty into Grays Harbor, for summer salmon.

Cast off at the beginning of daylight aboard a heated drift boat. Morning coffee and snacks are provided. This package includes fishing equipment, tackle and bait.
