Opt for a two-night stay on weekdays and receive an upgrade to a room with views of the Columbia River. A two-night package is also available for weekends and includes a s'mores kit.

Hike any of three trails looping around the grounds, or take a guided tour with the U.S. Forest Service on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. For a laid-back afternoon, enjoy a scenic 45-minute drive to Multnomah Falls, the fifth tallest waterfall in the United States.

After a day spent biking (rentals are free), sink into the grotto hot tub or cool off in the pool, then cozy up next to the 85-foot-tall stone fireplace in the lobby.
