The Deal

Arizona Foothills Magazine says "fun family adventure awaits" passengers on the Canyon Lake nature cruises offered by Dolly Steamboat, adding that they're great for families looking for "some dedicated, unplugged time." Readers of the Phoenix New Times voted the cruise the best activity for out-of-town guests, calling it a "gem of a tour" and a "spectacular ride." With this deal, one person can board a 90-minute narrated nature cruise for $10, half off the normal $20 rate.

Cruises depart daily and offer air-conditioned comfort while passing wildlife like bighorn sheep, coyote, bobcats and bald eagles as well as saguaro cacti and soaring 1,300-foot-high cliffs. The New Times even says the hour drive east of Phoenix to Canyon Lake is "magnificent."
