Tavern 17 Bar & Grill, located in the Radisson Plaza-Warwick Hotel, is one of Gayot's 2012 Top 10 in two categories, calling it a "lively, fun place to chat and chow." For $45, regularly $86, Travelzoo subscribers can savor a three-course dinner for two at the Rittenhouse Square eatery Philadelphia Magazine calls "hip" and "sleekly designed."

Take a seat in the dining room and select from the New American menu:

• Any two appetizers like ahi tuna tartare with lavash crisp, tobiko and citrus aioli; corn muffin-dipped chicken sausage with red onion marmalade; or oven-baked goat cheese served with sun-dried tomatoes, capers and grilled baguette

• Any two entrees, such as wild mushroom mac and cheese with truffle-scented cream; barbecue salmon with mashed potatoes; or Black Angus strip loin served with caponata, french fries and a mixed green salad
