I have been on many whale watch trips. They always guarantee whale sightings or will give a voucher for a return trip. This company added dolphins to the tour and guarantee sighting of marine mammals. You can see dolphins from the shore - I wanted to see whales. Guess I sjouke have read the fine print... Àlso, it had rained recently and the plastic side windows that were in the up position during the rain had not been put down to empty so several people had water dumped on their heads.

It really should be named the Cape May 'Dolphin' Watcher!! We saw many many dolphins they were frolicking all around the boat. At one point I got dizzy spinning around trying to see them all. No whales though. :O( I took my 14 yo daughter, my 14 yo niece and my 13 yo nephew they were really entertained. The boat ride was soothing and I think we all dozed off on occasion. The crew were helpful and pleasant. It was a little - no, a lot - windy and kinda chilly. If it's not the dead of summer take a jacket!! Overall, great experience.

I bought this when I didn't know much about the area. I'm not more of a local and it is pretty known that you never see whales on this trip. We didn't see any. That's marketing for you, though. The snack area could have been better but overall was nice to be on the water. Until getting seasick.
