For $240, make it a two-night ski escape with Thursday-Saturday arrivals through March 30. This package includes two lift tickets to the nearby Pine Mountain Ski Resort with 27 runs, three lifts and night skiing available.

The resort is located on picturesque Miscauno Island near the Michigan border, a haven for outdoor pursuits such as skiing, snowmobiling and ice skating in the winter, and hiking, fishing and whitewater rafting in the milder months. A nine-hole golf course bordered by the Menominee River is set on the resort grounds. Rejuvenate at the hotel’s spa and indoor heated swimming pool.

Use the drink tickets at the resort’s steakhouse, lounge or sports bar. Sweet-toothed guests will flock for hot fudge sundaes and banana splits at Lillie's Ice Cream Shop, modeled after a 1940s soda fountain.

The resort is located in Pembine, Wis., 30 minutes from Iron Mountain, Mich., and 90 minutes from Green Bay.
