The Deal

Zagat calls NIOS Restaurant & Wine Bar "inviting" and rates the New American cuisine at this Times Square gem "very good to excellent" (22). For $45, two can savor a three-course dinner at this Muse Hotel hot spot, regularly $90.

This deal includes dinner for two from an exclusive menu that includes:

Two appetizers:
• Organic greens with goat cheese and beets
• Tuna tataki with enoki mushrooms, radish and ginger soy dressing
• Romaine salad with garden hearts and creamy garlic dressing
• Parsnip bisque with butter-poached crab, snow peas and apple
• Octopus with watercress salad and miso
• Short rib melt with crispy shallots and thyme demi-glaze
• Smoked duck with figs, manchego and wild mushroom salad

Two entrees:
• Roasted chicken with confit ravioli and tarragon jus
• Sirloin strip with smoked potato fondue and truffle
• Scampi risotto with bay scallops and tomato
• Pappardelle with mascarpone and Parmesan
• Wild striped bass with lotus root puree and Thai green curry
• Braised lamb shank with sweet potato mash
• Garganelli bolognese with red wine-beef ragout, mozzarella and basil
