We enjoyed being on a real sailing ship, watching the sails being put up and taken down by staff and seeing all the beauty of New York Harbor :a docked cruise ship, Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, the many bridges, the Staten Island Ferry, the beautiful views of Lower Manhattan, New Jersey and Brooklyn and so much other boat and helicopter traffic in the area.

The full price is about $40.We paid $20. for the TravelZoo voucher. Well worth it. Don't know if I would pay $40 per person as we live in New York and are familiar with the sights. The crew was lovely. Finally, there are 2 bathrooms on board - very clean, decent and much bigger than you would expect on a small ship. Pleasant surprise. DRESS WARMLY unless it's a very hot day. It's 10 degrees colder on the water PLUS windy. There's a bar on board to buy drinks too. Lots of fun.

the view, the beer, it was all very nice.

I would recommend this experience to anyone and at the price I paid it was well worth it.

The view of lower Manhattan, especially the new Freedom Tower was fantastic. Passing by the Statue of Liberty at such a close distance was an enjoyable experience.

It was like the crew working onboard were just along for the ride. They raised the sails for effect but did nothing else. It would have been nice if they pointed out some interesting sites along the way or gave some narrative for the many foreign visitors onboard. The only narrative they gave was to make sure everyone tipped the crew at the end of the trip. I heard many people speaking about this negatively and reluctantly dropping a few dollars in the bucket one of the crew held as people exited the boat.
