The Deal

For $169, Travelzoo subscribers can take to the skies during an introductory helicopter training flight from Global Aviation Corp. with ground instruction and flight time, a package that is regularly $295.

Following 30 minutes of FAA-regulated ground training, climb aboard and spend 30 minutes at the controls of a state-of-the-art helicopter. Qualified instructors serve as co-pilots, guiding students through basic maneuvers as you soar over sights like the Long Island Sound and Jones Beach.

Vouchers can be redeemed starting Friday, Jan. 11, through July 3, 2013. Reservations are required and subject to availability. Voucher is subject to forfeiture if you cancel or reschedule your reservation with less than 48 hours' notice. Not valid on major holidays or holiday weekends. Must be under 220 pounds and at least 10 years of age to participate. In the interest of safety, this is not valid for pregnant women. Flight times are subject to change and weather conditions. Must sign waiver. Children ages 10-17 must have parent or guardian sign waiver. A fuel surcharge may be included if gasoline prices increase. Limit 1 voucher purchase per person; additional vouchers may be purchased as gifts. Not valid on products. Gratuity and tax, if applicable, are not included.
