Classes are available every Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 5:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. and last 2 hours. Limit 1 per person, but additional may be purchased as gifts. Must be used in 1 visit. Not valid for products. Tax and gratuity are not included. This deal cannot be combined with any other offers. No cash value or cash back.

The Deal

Indulge your inner oenophile with a two-hour wine class at Giorgio's Brick Oven and Wine Bar on the Upper East Side. For $39, get 10 tastings -- five white and five red from a wine selection New York Magazine hails as "truly fantastic." Normally $108, this experience for two also includes appetizers and a bottle of wine to take home.

Select from classes offered at 5:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Learn the basics of wine and how to taste including techniques on how to detect flavor notes in the wine as well as the origins of different grapes, how to link scents to specific terrains and how to pair wine with foods for a full tasting experience.

This class for two includes:

- 10 wine tastings (five red and five white), all with instruction

- An Italian meat and cheese platter and pizza to share, with choices like margherita or barbecue chicken

- After, take home a bottle of wine (worth up to $37) chosen by the sommelier, such as Pouilly Fume from France, or Tocai or Friuli from Italy

This class will also teach you the proper techniques of storing and preserving wine for crisp flavor.
