The Deal

Travelzoo subscribers can take a guided kayak tour on the Musconetcong River with this Local Deal from Living Adventure Tours, which Yelp users give a 4.5-star rating. For $59 per person, take a guided kayak tour, which includes all the necessary gear and life jacket (regularly up to $120).

Each three-hour tour is suitable for kayakers of all skill levels. Guests will paddle through the Northern section of the river near a dam where turtles, herons, hawks and muskrats can be spotted.

Tours run on July 28, Aug. 5, Aug. 18, Aug. 19, Sept. 1, Sept. 22, Sept. 29 and Sept 30. 

Roundtrip transportation between Central Park and the kayak site (see map) is provided. Pick up is at 9:15 a.m. Tours will stop at The Stanhope House on the return trip and return back to New York City by 7 p.m.

Note: In case of severe weather cancellation by Living Adventure Tours, guests will receive an email or text message by 7:30 a.m. the day of the event.
