The Deal

The counterpart of Haven Gastropub in Orange, Haven Gastropub + Brewery in Pasadena follows the same culinary mission: to serve gourmet pub fare. However, it complements that menu with made-on-site brews. Called "version 2.0" by Eater in comparison to its sister property, this fancy gastropub serves up an exclusive dinner for two Travelzoo subscribers. For $59, make your way through a four-course meal and craft beer flights valued at $134 total.

First course (choice of):
• Pork Jam: pork rillettes served in a mason jar with house mustard and artisan bread
• House bourbon-cured salmon with orange zest mascarpone, shaved radish and micro greens
• Roasted spaghetti squash, marinara and cheese

Second course (choice of):
• Radicchio and frisée salad with chèvre, cherry tomatoes, truffle vinaigrette, twice-smoked bacon lardons and a poached cage-free egg
• Warm kale salad with black Tuscan kale, Castelvetrano olives, roasted cauliflower, wild mushrooms, cherry tomatoes and ricotta salata

Third course (choice of):
• Porcini-dusted pork chop with barley-apple risotto, cranberry gastrique and an herb salad
• Skuna Bay salmon with fennel purée, braised leeks and a blood orange herb salad
• Roasted chicken breast with rosemary mashed potatoes, rainbow chard and a pan sauce
• Red-wine braised lamb shank, wild mushroom polenta, Parmesan jus
• IPA-braised bone-in short rib with roasted garlic-carrot purée and a demi-glace

Fourth course (shared):
• Cookies and milk: a dozen chef-selected, petite homemade cookies served with a glass of ice-cold milk
• House-made doughnuts with Jameson caramel and Nutella sauce
• Butterscotch pot de crème infused with Oban 14 and served with pumpkin spice cake, candied squash and pumpkin seeds

To drink:
• A beer flight each that includes Haven's own seasonal brews
