The Deal

With more than 200 varieties of teas, Chado Tea Room is "a temple for tea lovers," according to Frommer's. For $25, two can experience a three-course afternoon tea complete with homemade scones, tea sandwiches and desserts, regularly $50. This deal can be used at either the Pasadena or Hollywood locations; the Pasadena location was named Best Tea House by Pasadena Weekly.

The "Celebration Afternoon Tea Menu" features your pick of freshly-steeped loose leaf tea, an appetizer course (signature cream of tomato soup or house salad) and a three-tiered rack of tea sandwiches (with selections like smoked salmon and dill and English cucumber). Finish with a fresh homemade scone with Chado cream and jam, a cookie and slice of cake for dessert and a celebratory Mauritius tea float.

Four people can go for $49, regularly $100.

Or for $39, get this tea experience for two people with two Chado signature packaged loose leaf tea to take home or give as gifts for the holidays. Choose from seasonal holiday blends or wine-inspired teas; each package is four ounces.

All three deals include a 20% discount on tea products purchased the same day you redeem the voucher.
