Apparently I learned after the fact that we were suppose to get tea floaters as part of our meal? Never got it, they also charge a hefty fee for sharing. Even with the coupon, it was pricy and the fact that they did not give us everything we were suppose to turns me off even more.

The wait staff was very friendly and gave us an additional discount because we had a JANM membership card. The afternoon tea sandwich selections were very tasty and presentation was fine. Also, the huge selection of teas was amazing.

Unfortunately it was the first day of the Hello, Kitty exhibit and there were lots of people seeking to get a special deal w/ admission. That's why it took a long time to get our meal. Usually it's pretty fast.

The service. It was so slow. My scone was rock hard and it took about 10 minutes to get a new one. My sister ordered a blueberry scone and it took 40 minutes to let us know that they didn't have any that day. The tea pots were dirty. The tea was lukewarm. The cold was cold. A manager didn't come out to apologize for the service. The place was half empty. I couldn't understand why the service and food were so bad. Our afternoon tea service dragged on for so long we almost walked out.

Not really.
