HOWEVER, ONCE SEATED, WE ENJOYED THE TASTING EXPERIENCE. THIS WAS NOT MY FIRST TIME AT CHADO'S (I FREQUENTED IN THE PAST - 6-7 YEARS PRIOR).

SEATING REQUIRED RESERVATIONS. DIFFICULT TO CONTACT FACILITY TO DO SO; BY PHONE AUTOMATED RESPONSE I LEFT MY INFORMATION ON 3 DIFFERENT DATES- NO RETURN CALL FORTHCOMING. I WALKED IN TO REQUEST ACCOMMODATIONS. HOST INSISTED THERE WOULD NOT BE ACCOMMODATIONS THAT AFTERNOON. I WAS ADAMANT AND WAS GIVEN A TIME ONE HOUR LATER. NOTICED SEVERAL EMPTY TABLES UPON RETURN. (AT LEAST 60% OF THE FACILITY SHOWED VACANT SEATING FOR MORE THAN AN HOUR) EVEN THOUGH WE WERE TOLD THEY HAD NO VACANCIES. IT IS MY BELIEF THAT THEY SHUN ATTENDEES WITH DISCOUNT DEALS. SEEMED THE ATTENDANT DID EVERYTHING IN HIS POWER TO SEND ME AWAY.

Their location next to the Japanese American Museum made it very convenient to enjoy both the museum and the tea experience.

Being taught about the different teas, and just the overall experience was wonderful

Jan 02, 2015 yolanda CA, United States

Watching my green tea with lychee flavor brewing and drinking it (even though the lychee flavor was weak, it was really nice to see it brewing).

Booking was hard because of the time I wanted to visit (the last week of the year), but a staff at Hollywood location was able to accommodate me. There were minor things happened, like a delivery person making a thunder noise during the delivery and all, but overall, I really enjoyed the experience of having my tea at the location.
