The Deal

CBS Los Angeles calls The Spa at The Balboa Bay Resort a "peaceful getaway" that's located at one of Travel + Leisure's top 500 hotels in the world. The spa opens its doors to Travelzoo subscribers with this unique offer: a customizable massage including special enhanced treatments, amenity access and a glass of wine for $85, regularly $160.

This experience starts with a 50-minute custom massage that's specifically tailored to each person, paired with a massage enhancement like extra hot stones, special peppermint cream exfoliation, or a natural skin-nourishing scalp treatment. A glass of sparkling wine will be served during the visit.

The spa recommends arriving an hour early to take advantage of amenities that Examiner.com called "top notch," including the heat therapy system: a regimen of relaxation including time in the eucalyptus steam room, dry sauna and whirlpool. Following the massage, lounge by the pool that's just steps from the beach.
