The Deal

Called "distinctive" and "inspired" by the LA Times, Los Angeles Ballet will perform the "The Nutcracker," and subscribers can now purchase tickets to shows in December at four regional venues for 40% off.

The following Saturday evening shows are 40% off ($18-$45, reg. $30-$75) in Sections B, C and D:

• Dec. 1 - Alex Theatre (Glendale)
• Dec. 8 - Carpenter Performing Arts Center (Long Beach)
• Dec. 22 - Valley Performing Arts Center (Northridge)
• Dec. 29 - Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center (Redondo Beach)

Additionally, the following matinees are 20% off ($24-$60, reg. $30-$75) in Sections B, C and D:

• Dec. 23 (Sunday) - Valley Performing Arts Center
• Dec. 29 (Saturday) - Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center
• Dec. 30 (Sunday) - Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center

The LA Times said last year's show had "an admirable depth and intelligence of design" and called Los Angeles Ballet a "mightily impressive touring company."
