The Deal

California native chef Chris Randell brings his West Coast-inspired cuisine to Left Coast Kitchen and Cocktails in Merrick with an "inventive, upscale menu" served in a friendly, gastropub setting according to The New York Times. For $39, two can savor dinner with drinks, regularly up to $87.

Enjoy dishes served from the open kitchen -- a signature style of West Coast restaurants -- with this deal that includes:

• A shared appetizer, like mini crab burgers with spicy tricolored slaw; Baja-style mahimahi tacos with lobster chipotle slaw; and surf and turf mac and cheese with short rib, lobster and truffle oil

• Any two entrees, such as pan-roasted sea scallops with sweet corn pudding and truffle brown butter; steak frites with truffle home fries; and ravioli with summer squash and heirloom tomatoes
