The Deal

Retreat to a lakeside hotel, but still be close to the city, as downtown is only 6 km away. Offering expansive views of Chocolate Lake, the Lakeside Grill has both patio and lounge seating, and serves up original dishes including fresh Atlantic seafood chowder; the "lake side" burger with crispy onions, smoked cheddar, bacon and chipotle mayo; and almond-crusted filet of salmon with maple pear glaze on a bed of baby greens.

When not playing with the resident Chocolate Lab, Cocoa, explore the rest of the hotel including newly renovated rooms, a saltwater pool and hot tub, fitness centre and state-of-the-art games room including game consoles. Guests can also watch the waves ripple through the lake from the hotel lawn or restaurant patio.
