The Deal

The Xtreme Xperience is coming to Houston's GrandSport Speedway in December, and with it comes a new opportunity to race around the road course at high speeds in one of four exotic supercars. For $159, regularly $399, strap into the driver's seat and hit the gas with a two-hour driving experience including three laps around the track.

Drivers can get behind the wheel of a Ferrari F430, Lamborghini LP560, Audi R8 or Porsche 911 Turbo. After registration, check out the cars and take photos with all the vehicles before a classroom session detailing how the cars handle, special details about braking and acceleration in a high-powered vehicle, and turn-by-turn track information to help plan the vehicle's approach through the curves. After that, hit the track for three laps with an instructor, who will help you get the highest speeds and best performance out of the car during the experience.

Subscribers also can save more than $500 by purchasing two driving experiences for $259, regularly $798, which can be redeemed by one person for a drive in two different cars, or by two people who each want to drive. For an extra fee, drivers can leave with a high-definition video shot from inside their vehicle during the three-lap trip; photo packages are also available.
