The Deal

A longstanding Hollywood favorite frequented by celebs like Halle Berry (The Hollywood Reporter), Mirabelle on Sunset recently unveiled a complete revamp. For $39, two can share the centerpiece of the "cutting-edge" new menu -- the house specialty seafood charcuterie -- plus four specialty cocktails to pair with the experience, regularly $78.

GrubStreet also praises the "unexpectedly novel menu" and "clever selection" of the seafood charcuterie, handcrafted by head chef Michael Bryant and featured in LA Weekly. The seven-item charcuterie changes frequently, and currently includes items like:

• Maple-glazed smoked tuna ham with bourbon long peppers
• Scottish salmon-pastrami on rye, drizzled with horseradish celery
• Hamachi cured in rum and pepper with pickled kumquats
• Grilled alligator and crayfish hot link with fennel slaw

Also get four specialty cocktails, crafted to pair with the seafood charcuterie (choice of):

• George: bourbon, lime, maple syrup, pineapple
• Lenore: gin, sloe gin, egg, lemon, simple syrup
• Damon: rye, lime, agave syrup, mustard seed, dill, cucumber
• Justin: rum, grapefruit, simple syrup
• 1971: vodka, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, lavender, kumquat, lemongrass soda
