The Deal

Nonna of Italy in West Hollywood has garnered a "very good to excellent" (24) rating from Zagat, which also says the “well-prepared Italiana pleases even the finicky eaters in the family.” For $49, two people can have a three-course dinner paired with wine (regularly $124), a meal our Deal Experts experienced and raved about the wine selection, hearty dishes and excellent service.

Dine indoors in the sleek dining room or alfresco along Sunset Boulevard and select:

• Two appetizers or insalates (up to $15 each), such as the Spanish black mussels in spicy tomato broth with garlic; or try the wild arugula salad with grapefruit, beets, candied walnuts and goat cheese

• Two pastas or secondis (up to $28 each), such as the orecchiette pasta with spicy Italian sausage and roasted red bell peppers; or try the grilled Mediterranean sea bass served in a white wine lemon sauce with roasted potatoes and broccolini

• A shared dessert (up to $12), such as the panna cotta with orange peel and vanilla bean or classic tiramisu

• Two glasses of red or white wine (up to $13 each)

Or, for $95, four people can get this dinner (regularly $248), with any four appetizers or insalates, any four pastas or secondis, any two shared desserts and four glasses of wine.
