Learn to prepare a gourmet meal from Chef Glenn Schneider -- who's cooked for Julia Roberts, Tom Hanks and Jimmy Kimmel -- with this exclusive Local Deal. For $45 per person, Travelzoo subscribers can take a class at The Highlands Hollywood from this chef-to-the-stars, which includes a four-course meal and drink, regularly $104.

As you chop and stir in the loft-like space perched above the Walk of Fame, take in panoramic views of Hollywood while Chef Schneider provides hands-on instruction to create dishes such as:

• Homemade mozzarella cheese caprese

• Mixed field greens with homemade cranberry vinaigrette, goat cheese and candied pecans

• Negi-Maki: scallions rolled in marinated beef tenderloin, cut into roulades and served on cauliflower puree with blistered ginger soy green beans

• Southern pecan bars with Madagascar vanilla bean custard

Each class also includes a complementary glass of wine or signature cocktail.

Menus change weekly, and classes are scheduled Tuesday-Saturday.
