The Deal

Spend a day paddling down the upper section of the Delaware River with this exclusive Local Deal from Cedar Rapids Kayak & Canoe Outfitters. For $39, Travelzoo subscribers can spend two nights camping and a day rafting in Barryville, only 90 miles outside New York City. This trip regularly costs $68 per person.

This deal is available any Sunday-Friday through September and includes:

• Rafting on the Delaware River, which begins with orientation and safety training before navigating your raft down mild to Class II rapids; perfect for beginners

• Shuttle service to and from the river

• Two nights of riverfront tent camping: Guests must bring their own tent and sleeping bags

• Use of the lodge with free Wi-Fi, hot showers, recreation like fishing, volleyball and horseshoes, and an on-site restaurant

Go with a friend and save more: For $65, two people can take to the rapids and enjoy two nights of camping, regularly $136. Buy multiple vouchers and go with family or friends; rafts can accommodate up to eight people.

Once on-site, campers have the option of upgrading to a deluxe dinner for an additional $20. Or, bring your own grill or camping stove and cook in the great outdoors; public fire rings are also available for cooking.
